Here you can review the main provisions of the license agreement between an author and the publisher of the journal Law: History and Modernity (Tambov State Technical University).
Law: History and Modernity is an open-access journal. It provides permanent full-text access to the works published in it. All articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY). A reference to the original source is required when published materials are used in other documents.
The Author grants the Publisher the right to use the article as follows:
- to reproduce the article or any part of it, as well as its metadata in Russian and English, in any tangible form, including print and electronic media, in the journal and/or the Publisher's databases;
- to distribute the article or any part of it, as well as its metadata in Russian and English, as part of the journal and/or the Publisher's databases;
- to post the electronic version of the article on the journal website and in databases and electronic library systems;
- to adapt the article, including translating it into foreign languages, and to use the adapted or translated article by the methods specified above.
The Publisher may use the article only within the scope of the rights and by the methods provided for in the agreement.
All other rights not expressly transferred to the Publisher under this agreement, including patent rights to any processes, procedures, methods, or other matters described by the Author in the article, as well as trademark rights, remain with the Author.
The Publisher undertakes to:
Publish the article in print and electronic form in accordance with this agreement, subject to a positive preliminary check, internal review, and external peer review. In accordance with the Regulations on the Review of Scientific Articles in the journal Law: History and Modernity, published on the Publisher's website, the final decision on publication is made by the Editorial Board or, in conflict situations, by the Editor-in-Chief.
Ensure that the article metadata and/or full text are submitted to Russian and international databases indexing the journal.
Observe the Author's rights provided by applicable law, protect those rights, and take all necessary measures to prevent third-party copyright infringement.
